  • Any problem that can’t be fixed immediately is reported to the nominated equipment maintenance staff members.

Injuries

If a gymnast should injure themselves during training:

  • The Coach or responsible staff member will manage the situation.
  • All Senior Coaches are qualified to administer First Aid.
  • The gymnast should not be moved if prone, otherwise the gymnast will be asked to sit while the injury is assessed.
  • If the injury is severe, contact a Senior Coach immediately.
  • If the injury is minor, the Coach will administer the appropriate treatment.
  • All injures/incidents will have an incident report form completed.
