National
The National Levels Program is designed for competitive gymnasts who shows talent, to be able to compete in local, regional, state and national competitions.
The National Levels program requires gymnasts to train between 6 and 24 hours per week. The training hours increase as the Level increases.
This program runs from Development to Level 1 – 10 and is by invitation only. Gymnasts who display the qualities needed to be an elite gymnast, including strength, flexility and the desire to work ethic will have the most success in the National Levels Program. Gymnasts are required to be assessed by our Head Coach to gain entry into this program.
International (Elite)
The Elite Program is designed for competitive gymnasts who show natural talent, are gifted athletically and have the determination to achieve the skills required to compete at a national and international level.
The Elite program requires gymnasts to train a minimum 20 hours per week so a high level of commitment is required.
Gymnasts who display the qualities needed to be an elite gymnast, including strength, flexibility, a strong work ethic and a competitive nature have the base requirements to become an international gymnast.
National gymnasts who display these traits over an extended period and have achieved the minimum skills required, may be considered by the Head Coach to gain entry into this program.
Consideration for these programs
These programs are by invitation. Talented gymnasts who are considering joining Canberra City Gymnastics Club should contact us to discuss the possibility of joining either of these programs.
